In this category you will find the taxi services related to the Long Distance Footpaths (GR) of the Official Footpath Network of La Palma.
In La Palma there are two hiking trails with GR rank, coded with the numbers 130 and 131. The first of them surrounds the island completely and links its main towns. It is also known as "Camino Real de la Costa y Medianías".
The second GR on the island is GR 131, which crosses the island by using its top ridges, from Puerto de Tazacorte to the lighthouse at Fuencaliente. It links together two of the most emblematic walking routes on La Palma: "Ruta de la Crestería" (the ridge route, over the top of the Caldera de Taburiente) and "Ruta de los Volcanes" (the route of the volcanoes, across the lava fields of the island's most recent eruptions. It is also known as "Ruta del Bastón" or The Walking Stick Route, due to its shape on the map).
